The Need: Produce is expensive to purchase for families and food assistance programs alike, meaning that many programs can not afford the the healthy fruits and vegetables that families need
Our answer: Our boldest mission is a project of love to establish a non-profit farm, where we will utilize regenerative agriculture to cultivate produce that we will distribute through our ministries, while also providing produce to local food assistance programs with Christian branding to draw attention to our cause. Our heavenly Father has blessed the land with the ability to produce fruits and vegetables under the watchful stewardship of His image bearers. The first job given to mankind was to cultivate and keep the Garden of Eden. In this vein, we will start a non-profit farm, utilizing sustainable production methods, which we will use to supply the fresh produce we will use in our direct and partner distribution networks. By operating our own farm, we reduce the cost of sourcing produce while also providing our ministry with a means of self-funding future growth and expansion. Growing our own produce also allows us the ability to provide high-quality, culturally relevant fruits and vegetables to our participants, ensuring they keep coming back so that the Holy Spirit has more time to produce a spiritual harvest in their hearts. Initial crops will be centered around salad greens, root vegetables, hot and sweet peppers, tomatoes, and microgreens.
